Carrying cash is now an old thing, No one likes to carry cash and also it’s not safe. Now money is available in digital form we can transfer money digitally. In today’s world, dozens of money transfer apps & services are available. Many of us are aware of these services to transfer money from one bank account to another. But still many people don’t know the best and fastest way to Transfer Money.

So, here am first going to tell you some short information about all Money Transfer Methods. After that, I am going to tell you about some Best Money Transfer Apps that I am using personally.

Short and useful Information about Money Transfer Services. 

If you have a Net Banking facility then you can easily transfer money from one bank account to another. But If you don’t have then still you can register online or get it from your Bank Branch. Here am assuming that you have Net-Banking Facility, So you can transfer money using NEFT, IMPS, or RTGS. I know you must be heard about these services from other people but if still you don’t know then read short information.

NEFT / RTGS

NEFT stands for National Electronic Funds Transfer. It allows you to transfer funds from 1 INR to 1 lacs INR. There is a good thing and a bad thing about NEFT. The good thing is Bank will not charge any amount to Transfer Money. And the bad thing is money will not credit instantly to another bank account. You can use this service during bank hours only to get money the same day.

RTGS stands for Real-time gross settlement. The only difference between NEFT and RTGS is the money transfer limit. By using RTGS you can transfer 2 Lacs to 10 Lacs.

IMPS.

IMPS stands for Immediate Payment Services. It allows you to transfer money 24X7 and money will also credit immediately to another bank account. But you need to pay some charges to use IMPS services this thing you’ll not like about it.

UPI.

UPI stands for Unified Payment Interface, and it is somehow the same as IMPS. But it is the better version which means you don’t need to pay charges. All you need is a VPA address or Mobile no. of other Bank accounts used to send money. To use UPI you need an application and now am going to tell some hand-picked Best Money Transfer Apps.

Use your bank’s Official App.

There is some good Money Transfer app available for Android and iOS. But If your bank has its own official App. Then I suggest you use that app, and by using it you’ll be able to use IMPS, NEFT, or UPI.

Warning – There are some fake apps also available for some banks. So it’s better to verify those apps before use, you can contact your bank customer care.

PayPal.

If you want to send money Internationally then the best method is PayPal. With PayPal Money Transfer App you can send money to over 100 countries using their email address and Mobile number, the PayPal site is also available which allows you the same facility.

Google Wallet. (US)

As we all know Google launched many useful apps for Android. And now for money transfers, Google launched its own Wallet app. But unfortunately, still, it’s available only in selected countries.

BHIM is known as Bharat Interface for Money, After Demonetization Indian Government launched this application officially. It offers a payment transfer option through IFSC and MMID.

PhonePe.

You can also shop on Flipkart using PhonePe, also the best feature that I like about PhonePe is you can check your Bank Balance. And it allows up to 1 lac transaction which is better than BHIM App.

Paytm Wallet App.

Paytm is the PayPal of India, It allows to send or request money, Pay Utility Bills, Shop Online, and much more. You can add or send 20,000 per month, and if you’re a verified VIP member of Paytm then you can send up to 1Lac.

Paytm allows you to send money to anyone’s bank account using Bank Account details. And now Paytm also launched Paytm Bank where you can open Free Bank Account and you’ll get all benefits that you get in a normal Bank.

Still, there are many apps left to add to the Money Transfer App list like you can send money using Facebook Messenger & Snapchat. But it’s not worth it because here we talking about transferring money from one bank account to another.
